VALDIMIRO BUZI, mandola
Valdimiro Buzi was born in Rome in 1974.
Grandson of Maestro Giuseppe Anedda, began the study of the mandolin with his grandfather and continued with Maestro Dorina Frati.
He graduated from the Conservatory of Music Alfredo Casella of L'Aquila.
Later he specialized in the study of Mandola and Mandocello.
He played frequently with important chamber and symphony orchestras in Italian opera houses such as Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Massimo of Palermo, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Fondazione Arturo Toscanini in Parma, Orchestra Filarmonica delle Marche, Orchestra Regionale della Toscana, Accademia Santa Cecilia.
He has performed in Germany for the Italian Consulate in Saarbruken, Stuttgart and Mannheim, in Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Japan in greatest concert halls in the country (Tokyo Opera City, Tokyo International Forum, Minato Minai Hall, Osaka Symphony Hall, etc.).
He played for television and radio broadcasts of the RAI (RAIUNO, RAI, RADIORAI, Radio Vaticana, Sat2000, Antenne 2).
Since 2009 cooperates at concerts and recordings of Ennio Morricone’s soundtracks (Baaria, Risoluzione 819, Anna Frank), and performances with Nicola Piovani.
